My name is Didier Walstock, a 33-year-old man from Maastricht. My father, George Walstock, was the owner and manager of Tweewielerspecialist George Walstock in Maastricht for 35 years. As a child, I walked around his shop and played with my tool kit. As I grew older, I exchanged those toys for real tools and helped my father on my days off and holidays. That led to a full-time job as a mechanic and sales assistant. I was also responsible for the look and feel of the business and social media.
On 1 April 2018, my father sold his bicycle business. Looking for a new challenge - the apple doesn't fall far from the tree - I came into contact with Dormio Resort Maastricht. This company was looking for someone who wanted to take care of the bicycle rental. An excellent opportunity, given my background! A nice, new challenge to advise people and provide them with a sporty, relaxing day through the Limburg hills. On quality bicycles, of course.
